So What is Huskie IT?

   I guess you may be curious as to why the name Huskie. I guess for the most part it signifies the role of leadership and the desire to be the leader of the pack.

  Throughout my career in IT I have been the follower, the leader, the thinker and the doer. I have always been the type of person that not only wants to succeed, but to exceed expectations.

  The majority of my career has been under the employment of large corporations from which I have gratefully obtained some excellent training - in both technology and people management. I have been able to hone my skills as a listener, finding out what the problems are and finding solutions that are both economical and technically sound.

  I have been fortunate to travel the world to experience new places, new technologies and some rather brilliant minds. So how does this affect you?

  I have learned first and foremost in my career that the customer, whether a co-worker or a multi-million dollar client - needs to be heard. I have learned that my knowledge means nothing if I do not meet the needs of my customer. To be a leader, you have to have followers, and to gain followers, you have to listen first, answer second and deliver when obliged. My knowledge as an IT resource provides you with little or no value if I do not understand your needs.

  We can fix your computer and that would probably meet your expectations. If that is all you want, then there are multiple "geeks" out there that can provide this service.
